NetCom Learning is seeking an energetic, detail-oriented Marketing Intern to support our team in Manhattan 8-16 hours per week (flexible days and hours). Candidates must have a strong desire to work in and learn from all aspects of the new social, integrated, and online marketing mix. This internship includes coordination of LinkedIn, Facebook and Twitter accounts, integrated and online marketing, and administrative support. Responsibilities will include:
• Coordinating Facebook, Twitter and specially LinkedIn Accounts and connecting these services together.
• LinkedIn — develop relationships through groups and discussions as well as expand our LinkedIn awareness.
• Partner with marketing team to develop on-going marketing strategies.
• Help in updating marketing materials and PowerPoint presentations.
• Online Research
• Vendors Schedule updates
• Craigslist Schedule updates
• Administrative support
Requirements:
• College student, studying Marketing/Business/Communications/Media preferred.
• A passion for Marketing and Social Media.
• Avid and experienced Facebook, Twitter and LinkedIn social media users.
• Strong appreciation for client-service excellence — someone who would be seen as a team player in school projects.
• Exceptional written and presentation skills
• Must be detailed oriented and well organized
• Aptitude for innovation and creativity
