Taiwan is a liberal island nation with an advanced high tech economy, an identity, and even a vibrant democracy envied by many. But Taiwan is a country with its rights and recognition being disregarded by the international community. Come join us to learn how to advocate for Taiwan! We will learn effective strategies on how to convince people to recognize and support Taiwan!
This workshop will cover two topics:
1. Learn from experts on background knowledge about Taiwan and the most up-to-date US-Taiwan issues.
2. Master the “ABCs” of grassroots advocacy and learn how to make an elevator pitch to promote Taiwan.
Two Capitol Hill liaisons from FAPA Headquarter will join us to lead the workshop. Please sign up via Google Docs: http://goo.gl/9zOd3
The event is free of charge and open to general public.
Limited spaces, please R.S.V.P in advance.
