Job Description:

Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting. Masters degree a Plus
- CPA licensure required
- Three to five years of relevant experience required as an accountant or auditor in either public or private settings
- Solid working knowledge of SAP and GAAP is required
- Experience in healthcare accounting
- Strong leadership and decision-making abilities
- Strong work ethic, the ability to work in a fast paced environment, respond to ad hoc requests and meet deadlines on time
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills
- Ability to identify / highlight issues or problems and convey complex thoughts, written and oral, in a clear, concise, timely manner; up, down and across the organization
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment and maximize team potential
- Highly organized, detail oriented, and able to communicate effectively
- Self motivated with a professional demeanor and desire to learn
Preferred Background:
- Big 4 Accounting Firm experience
- Experience with Start Up companies
- M.N.C exposure
Duties:
- Prepare monthly statement of cash flows
- Prepare quarterly, monthly and annual financial statements
- Coordinate and prepare financial information for external entities that include outside accountants, outside actuaries and state/federal regulators
- Coordinate, prepare and analyze the annual consolidated budget and quarterly forecasts
- Ensure requisite state filings are met for all states in a timely manner
- Reconciliation with state, federal and other parties as required, including PDE reconciliation
- Prepare and submit reports on facility operations as required
- Attend and / or conduct meetings, as required, to carry out responsibilities
- Ensure adequate preparation for, and participate in, regulatory compliance
- Conduct oneself with the highest degree of honesty and integrity in every interaction
- Perform all other duties, as assigned
