Responsibilities:
- Preparation and maintenance of the organization’s master and resources plans
- Continuous evaluation of project performance to (1) allow the forecasting of future resource needs and (2) highlight areas of deviation where management action is required
- Participation in project’s planning sessions
- Preparation of budget, business cases, scenario analysis, contract reviews, and risk management strategies within area of responsibility
- Facilitation of team meeting
- Analytical modeling applied to project and financial/budgeting activities
- Manages the IT production/resources plan
- Build and maintain the yearly IT production plan in coordination with IT Management
- Calculate staffing needed, issue staffing KPIs
- Matching forecast versus actual and informing management of differences
- Manages the IT Project Management Office
- Build and maintain the IT project portfolio
- Record new projects and validate staffing in coordination with team leasers
- Validate overall project follow-up/methodology
- Ensures document management processes are properly used
- Follow-up document database
- Assess and improve document processes quality
- Assists in IT budget build-up and follow-up
- Coordinate timesheet with Finance department
- Assists in billing activities of customers
- Responsible for launching projects
- Coordinate with team leader project initiation
- Capture high level requirements for system versions
- Coordinate estimates between teams and define with customers function scope of projects
- Assist IT management in establishing a yearly roadmap for Project Management Office
- Assist project manager for studies relative to improvement of Project Management Office or IT business processes
- Assist the VP of client solutions on the day to day running of the department
Qualifications :
- Bachelor’s degree (B. A.) from four-year College or university; or one to two years’ related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Exposure to project management methodologies
- Mathematical and analytic modeling
- Algorithmic
- Knowledge of the tourism industry is a plus
- Fluency in French is a plus
- Knowledge of Excel, MS Project and PowerPoint is mandatory
- Quick learner – quick gain knowledge on new systems and changing environment
- Organized and able to structure and apply methodologies
