I usually eat out here with friends on Friday nights. This place opened not too long ago and I really think it’s a visual improvement over the XO Kitchen restaurant at Hester Street around the corner. It has a great hipster vibe to it and it looks like a very cozy place to eat at. They actually have a TV there so you get to watch Chinese TVB shows or the Olympics since they were showing that a few weeks ago when it just started. The food there is very good and cheap. I usually have either the chicken kew with portugual sauce over rice, baked minced beef over rice, or the pork chop with rice. You can’t go wrong with either of those three, though I love the pork chop with rice. The pork chop is very tasty and juicy. It comes recommended. You can also have your pick of desserts such as ice cream, pudding, milk tea, or coffee. The pricing there is cheap. However, wait time for food might be long especially if you are with a group of people, but don’t be discouraged because of that. The food is well worth it. I very much recommend this place to try out since they have a good selection of food there without breaking the bank.
