Job Description:

Safety Resources is looking for property account engineers in NYC. These property engineers will work out of our customer’s local office and be responsible for oversight of property loss control services provided to our customer’s major insured’s and business partners. These individuals will be expected to provide a high degree of property technical expertise and work closely with Risk Specialist Office property underwriters, policyholders and loss control service providers. Key responsibilities include completing desktop account evaluations, underwriter consultations, occasional field surveys, assistance with marketing and underwriter training, completion of quality assurance reviews of subcontractor work and coordination of loss control services for our large account ‘book of business’.

Job Requirements:

As a minimum the candidate must possess a bachelor’s degree in engineering, industrial technology or related applied sciences discipline. Seven years or more of property insurance loss control experience required. Having account engineering experience and one or more professional designations (PE, CSP, CFPS, ARM, ALCM, CPUC) is also preferred. Excellent technical written and verbal communications, a proficiency in computer skills and demonstrate an ability and desire to work effectively with all levels of customer and business partners. Some travel will be required.
