BIOS

Devin Gordon is the articles editor for GQ Magazine, where he covers sports, culture, politics, and just about every other subject in the men’s monthly universe. In addition to his editing duties, he wrote GQ’s September 2012 cover story about Tim Tebow. Prior to joining GQ, Gordon spent more than a decade at Newsweek Magazine, writing several cover stories on sports and popular culture before shifting into news editing ahead of the 2008 presidential election, during which he ran the magazine’s front-of-book section and received a National Magazine Award nomination for “best magazine section” in 2009. He also served as the editor of Newsweek.com before leaving for GQ in May 2010. Gordon earned a bachelors degree in English from Duke University and is originally from Peekskill, NY. Hua Hsu teaches at Vassar College. His work has appeared in the Atlantic (for whom he used to blog), Artforum, Grantland, New York and Slate. He is currently finishing his first book, A Floating Chinaman. He is a board member of the Asian American Writers Workshop. Follow him on twitter @huahsu.

Will Leitch is a contributing editor for New York magazine. He is also a regular contributor for GQ, Sports on Earth, The Wall Street Journal and Sporting News. Prior to joining New York Magazine, Leitch was the founding editor of Deadspin, which he launched in September 2005 and guided to its position as the most widely read independent sports blog. He left Deadspin in July 2008 but still regularly contributes to the site and Gawker, most notably as a film critic. He has also contributed to The New York Times, Esquire, The Atlantic, Fast Company, Parade, Glamour and The Nation. He is the author of four books: “Are We Winning: Fathers and Sons and the New Golden Age of Baseball” (2010), “God Save The Fan” (2008), “Catch” (2005) and “Life As a Loser” (2003). He earned a bachelor’s degree in print journalism from the University of Illinois and is originally from Mattoon, Ill. He now lives in Brooklyn with his wife and son.
