EDAW|AECOM is a world leader in Landscape Architecture, Planning, and Environmental Services. Our New York office has an immediate opening for a Marketing Director.
Duties:
Has a background and understanding within the A/E/C industry of no less than 10 years.
The Marketing Director must be an eloquent communicator, a strong leader, a bridge-builder of relationships, a strategic thinker, and adept at working within an international, matrix organization.
The Marketing Director will develop a strategic market plan and budget for the planning, design, and environmental markets which include the identification of targeted clients and opportunities, and the assignment of responsibility and within an action plan.
The Marketing Director has a thorough understanding of the Environment & Ecology and the design and planning markets, including knowledge of clients and how to connect with them, our service offerings within these disciplines, and an understanding of the language and skill sets within each of these practice areas, in order to effectively identify and discuss opportunities with potential clients.
Ability to identify market trends and opportunities within the planning, design, and environmental markets. The Marketing Director will perform secondary research, and monitor industry-related information sources for broad-based marketing and business implications. He/she will analyze data related to past, current and prospective markets, and be regarded as a primary resource for this information. He/she will lead efforts to pre-qualify client/project leads from market research referrals, contacts or other sources. He / she will perform competitor research.
The director will plan, lead and manage public relations efforts and awareness building campaigns and will oversee the office presence at key conferences and events.
The marketing Director is responsible for overseeing the performance, trends and reporting for the office, and to track the win/loss rate in order to better position the firm within productive markets. He / she also manages the marketing budget and prioritizes expenditures for pursuits and other marketing activities within the available budget structure.
The Marketing Director will be the marketing leader for bid opportunities in organizing the technical response and in preparing the bid team for shortlist presentations.
He/she will identify and analyze marketing opportunities, lead consultant outreach, and manage team efforts for submittals, responses, interviews, presentations, and related activities.
He/she will write compelling, market-oriented text, and provide mid- and late-stage editing services for proposals, presentations, and marketing collateral including product/service branding, positioning and messaging. He/she will provide input, direction, and support on the development of proposals, qualifications packages, presentations, and marketing collateral.
Serves as marketing director in support of a US East practice line leaders.
Works with Practice Line leader to develop a strategic business plan to execute the goals of the global business plan within the US east region, and to work collaboratively with practice leader to the execution of plan goals.
