Job Position: Director of Sales and Marketing
Reports To: CEO

Summary:
Just Energy is a rapidly growing, early stage company thatemploys innovative financing structures to help businesses achieve substantialsavings while embracing solar and other forms of renewable energy. We are seeking an energetic, hard-working,entrepreneurial person as a team member to accelerate the growth of our company.
Position Expectations:
As part of the senior management team, the Sales and MarketingDirector will be responsible for designing and implementing customeracquisition strategies and all market initiatives. The business is identifyingnew markets, considering segmentation strategies, and evaluating approaches toattract and acquire respective customers. The Sales and Marketing Director will also be responsible for buildingand managing the sales and business development teams. Considerable experience and creativity arerequired, as well as the ability and maturity to manage growth within afast-paced, start-up environment.
Responsibilities will include:
• Develop customer relationships across a range of property categories: Commercial (office, industrial, retail, lodging and multi-family properties), Government and Non-Profit (schools, universities, municipal, state and federal buildings), and Specialty (agricultural, wastewater treatment, airports, co-gen facilities, etc.)
• Explore strategic growth opportunities across geographies, and new customer and market segments, as well as other renewable technologies that can further leverage the existing financial platform
• Develop creative customer acquisition strategies across a diverse set of project types
• Help develop and implement a long term marketing strategy
• Develop a comprehensive line of marketing materials, as well as corporate documents
• Interact with customers – both at a conceptual level with CEOs, CFOs, etc. as well as at a hands-on level with utility / facility / property managers
• Manage customer relationships throughout the entire sales cycle: system design and engineering, project management, contractual obligations, billing etc.
• Travel as necessary to engage customers
Specific Job Skills:
You must be passionate about the renewableenergy business, be willing to work extremely hard, and enjoy the fast pace ofan early stage company with tremendous growth potential.
In addition, you mustpossess:
• Superior written, verbal, and presentation skills
• Ability to sell a complex financial solution to reduce energy costs in an easy to understand way
• Strong presentation creation skills using Power Point
• Desire to work hard, have fun, and play a key role building an innovative, green company
• Understanding of, and interest in: project finance, renewable energy and environmental policy issues
• Sound judgment, attention to detail, and strong organizational skills
Experience and Education Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree from top-tier institution
5+ years work experience in: financial services, energy, real estate, facilitymanagement or any related field with an emphasis on developing clientrelationships
Proven track record of successfully negotiatedtransactions working with multiple parties
