As Mayor Bloomberg updates everyone about the aftermath of Hurricane Sandy, New York residents without power, shelter and/or food are searching for sources to survive. The NYC Service is a an efficient and reliable source to turn to in times of need. Though there is power in most parts of the city now, people will remain without a healthy diet until restaurants and stores reopen to receive fresh foods, fruits and produce. The following is information on where to find shelters and food in the meantime.
List of Locations– Locations in Queens, Brooklyn, Staten Island and Manhattan that will pass out free food from 1-5pm today.
