As the Design Associate, you will contribute to the collaborative design process for Women’s Wearables, including outerwear, cold weather accessories, partnering with the Design Director and team from concept through development.
The successful individual will leverage their proficiency in Design to…
• Work closely with design team throughout the conceptual design process, assisting with sketches and product prototypes.
• Work with team to refine seasonal concept, materials, hardware, and color palette for Wearables line with a focus on outerwear.
• Support team on timeline adherence; ensure all Design Cards are completed accurately and delivered to Product Development on time; ensure all prototypes are available for product presentation and finalization. Ensure project timelines are met.
• Create design flats using Adobe Illustrator.
• Assist with trim research and assemble design presentation boards.
• Organize and maintain product samples.

• Minimum 3 years of ready-to-wear design experience.
• Strong technical knowledge of garment construction demonstrated through hand sketching and the ability to articulate the vision to others.
• Proven ability to sketch and spec quickly and efficiently.
• Strong proficiency in Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop.
• Fashion/luxury brand experience, a plus.
• Bachelors Degree in apparel design or related field.
