Discover how “Say You Heard My Echo” grew from a simple idea to a full production with a five-performance theatrical run.
Kelly Zen-Yie Tsai is a spoken word poet, playwright, and filmmaker whose work has been featured at over 450 venues worldwide including three seasons of “HBO Def Poetry.” Her project Say You Heard My Echo was recently featured as part of the Alliance’s 2012 Locating the Sacred Festival.
Join Kelly as she takes us behind-the-scenes with her thoughts on what inspired her to create this work, the process of developing it for the stage, and where it’s going next since her debut at the Locating the Sacred Festival.
