Onassis is looking for professional, fashion forward individuals with great energy. We are looking for talent that has retail experience and is interested in learning about a business in its startup phase.

Onassis Clothing is an American-inspired collection rooted in European styling and fit, and uniquely handcrafted with Japanese techniques.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Assist Operations, Marketing and Accounting Managers in day-to-day administrative duties.
• Spend part of the week shadowing/helping the VP on various projects and appointments.
• Learn first-hand what it takes to operate a startup business.
• Manage traffic of incoming and outgoing samples sent to press contacts.
• Assist with in-store event planning: brainstorm themes, manage guest lists and maintain vendor relationships.
• Work with retail and ecommerce teams to develop new marketing efforts and create marketing tools.
• Develop content and contribute to social media outlets.
• Learn how to use POS software to assist in inventory management and sales report generation.
• Learn about retail math, gain Excel skills and make beautiful spreadsheets.
• Prepare expense reports, purchase orders and invoices; learn how to process accounts payables and receivables.
• Basic office manager responsibilities: supply orders, answering phones, business errands and office organization.
• Participate in weekly sales meetings with department managers.

REQUIREMENTS:
• Must currently be a student or a recent graduate from a competitive university.
• Must have prior retail experience; menswear a plus.
• Must show interest in fashion and business (i.e. through classes taken, extracurricular activities, past jobs and actual in-person interview).
• Must feel comfortable and be able to thrive in a less structured, start-up environment.
• Hardworking, focused and self-motivated; must be able to operate with minimal supervision.
• Demonstrate strong communication, critical thinking and problem solving skills.
• A positive, outgoing, high-energy, entrepreneurial personality.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Google email.
• Experience with Adobe Illustrator and graphic design coursework a plus.

COMPENSATION:
• $75/per day
