Mohegan Sun is celebrating the Chinese New Year with two famous Taiwanese singers, Chi Qin and Wen Lan. On February 3rd, at 1am, Chi and Wen will bring their famous songs to Mohegan Sun Arena.

Chi Qin started his formal career in 1981 with the album See her Slip Away Again. From there, his popularity grew. He released the smash hit “Wolf” in 1985 and opened up Rainbow Studios the same year.

Chi groups his music career into two periods: the “wolf period” (pre-1992) and the “deer period” (after he converted to Buddhism in 1992). He attributes the titles of the two periods to “Wolf”, the hit single he released in 1985. He released 23 albums and had started his personal concert from 1988. His famous songs are sang by many other singers too.

A member of the Atayal ethnic group, Wen is one of the few Taiwanese aborigines to become a musical star. In 2010, she was proposed to star in a TV drama based on the Bret Easton Ellis novel Less Than Zero, to be set in Taipei. Wen released eight albums and is famous for her song “Roof”
