Growing up in Japan and living in the United States for many years, I was influenced by both Japanese
and American culture. I highly admire surrealism and I’ve always been interested in odd and creepy
stuff and places since I was little. I mostly draw women and creatures that I wish to exist and
somewhat they are someone or something that are in me but can’t come out in real life.
Concepts of my art are usually about “Heart”. Heart is fragile and it suffers so much pain when it’s
broken. But it’s all great in the end because I can get to express that pain, sorrow, and whatever I feel
through my paintings and that help me recover and makes me stronger also.
I am currently working as an illustrator and a graphic designer in New York.
