Can Jin was born in Beijing in 1991, moving to Japan at around three years of age, and has lived in Yokohama and Tokyo for over fifteen years. She has enjoyed drawing and sharing her art with her friends since she was a child. In 2010, she entered Tama Art University in Tokyo to study graphic design.
Dec. 2010 – Passed the “THE SIX” web competition; participated in the “THE SIX 2010” exhibition at the Laforet Museum in Harajuku, Tokyo
Apr. 2011 – Participated in the “Cher MICHINOKU” exhibition in Tokyo
Jun. 2011 – Participated in the third “100 Artists Exhibition” at Ouchi Gallery in New York
Oct. 2011 – Held the “SYOMONA T-Shirt Exhibition” in Japan
Dec. 2011 – Participated in UNICEF’s Prayer Tree Project for victims of the 3/11 earthquake in Japan
Feb. 2012 – Participated in executive and display animations committees at Centre Pompidou’s “Planète Manga” exhibition in Paris
Mar. 2012 – Held the “Jyu-nin Exhibition” in Japan
