In this panel discussion: “There Are No Gatekeepers: How to Make Kick-Arse Web Content (That Takes You To The Next Level)” Natalie Kim will moderate a discussion about current web series and web content creators.By the time this panel is over hopefully you will understand what kind of content audiences want to see, how you can do it (without spending a ton of money) and how to use your content to build relationships and maximize revenue.
Film Lab President, Jennifer Betit Yen, will also be giving a brief presentation on registration for this year’s 72 Hour Shootout, a worldwide filmmaking competition celebrating and empowering filmmakers of color to take control of their own stories. The top ten screen at the prestigious Asian American International Film Festival in New York City, now in its 36th year and the only film festival of its kind on the East Coast. Shootout Coordinator, David Dennis, will be on site to answer questions and do live registrations for the Shootout.
This Industry Spotlight, “Online Strategy for Creatives with Natalie Kim,” will take place in Manhattan on Thursday, March 14, 2013, 6-8pm. The event will be free and open to the public although RSVPs to IndustrySpotlight@film-lab.org are required.
