ABOUT CIVIC BUILDERS
Civic Builders, an experienced nonprofit real estate developer with deep roots in the New York City charter school community, is the preferred provider of cost charter school facilities for charter schools not served by current Department of Education infrastructure. Civic Builders’ approach to charter facilities relieves charter schools from the burden of having to navigate one of the most complex and competitive real estate marketplaces in the world, thereby enabling school administrators to focus time and resources on the important work of educating children.

Civic Builders finds itself at an exciting and critical juncture for charter school development in New York City. The support of the City’s Department of Education, coupled with enormous support from the philanthropic community, make this an unparalleled time to invest in New York City charter school infrastructure. As a result of this confluence of support, national charter advocates are focusing on New York as a testing ground for a new facilities model. Civic Builders has begun to capitalize on this momentum and looks forward to working with foundations and government partners to successfully build and finance innovative facility solutions for underserved neighborhoods in New York City.

An Equal Opportunity Employer
Civic Builders is an equal opportunity employer that provides employment without regard to race, color, creed, religion, national origin, age, marital status, disability, sexual orientation, sex, gender, or prior record of arrest or conviction (except as provided by law).
