We are seeking for an Experienced Data Analysis in Budgeting and Forecasting Consultant to design and implement a complex data model. The Excel model that is built must apply within the framework of Great Plains. Project related activities include design, build, test, and training tasks, as well as project management, documentation and knowledge transfer.
Individual must have independently built a model using Excel and show sample works.
You will be interfacing directly with the Accounting/Finance and Marketing team to implement the model.
Job Requirements:
• Undergraduate degree in Finance, Mathematics, Economics, Statistics, Computer Science or equivalent; MBA/MS or equivalent is a plus.
• 5-10 years experience in Accounting / Finance position working with the budget and forecast processes
• Experience working on complex, data-driven assignments that require an ability to understand and navigate large data structures, manipulate and cleanse data, and perform any and all necessary statistical analysis.
• In depth knowledge of Excel and other desktop tools used to manipulate data.
• Experience with Great Plains (implementation experience is a plus)
• Experience with SAS and/or MS SQL Server
• Project Management experience
• Ability to excel in a demanding, change-oriented, fast-paced environment
• Organized, thorough, detail-oriented work style
• Very strong verbal and written communication skills
• Experience with subscription services is a plus
