Known for spearheading the jazz-hop movement, Kero One, a Korean-American rapper/producer/DJ raised in California, has been a full time hip-hop musician for over 10 years releasing four full length albums, dozens of 12″ vinyl, mix CDs, and cassette tapes. A multitalented musician who can play numerous instruments, Kero has been garnering respect all over the globe as a producer’s producer, in addition to his thought-provoking lyrics and artful storytelling on the mic. Kero One’s music has garnered praise from underground hip-hop staples like Aloe Blacc & Del the Funky Homosapien to legends like Stevie Wonder and even pop icons like Will.i.am, Jamie Cullum (BBC UK), Epik High (Korea), and Dynamic Duo (Korea) just to name a few.
Accompanying the veteran is YouTube sensation Jeni Suk, who’s sound draws a wide array of influences from the likes of Kimbra, Little Dragon, Lauryn Hill, and Alicia Keys. Her recent cover remake of “Trap Love” (which combines Rihanna’s “Pour it Up,” “Love Song,” and Lil Wayne’s “Bitches Love Me”) was featured on WorldstarHipHop, garnering nearly half a million views outside of her YouTube following. Most recently, Jeni has featured on Kero One’s “So Seductive,” for the rapper’s Color Theory album.
