Spend Memorial Day weekend strolling through beautiful Chinatown, and enjoy an array of lively street activities including chess & checkers tables, arts & crafts, hula hooping and jump roping. Tired from walking? Sit around at multiple tables and chairs throughout the area and enjoy some of the foods and drinks from nearby establishments.
Highlights from the day include:
• The Jazz Band, Spencer Brown Quartet will be playing jazz at NOON
• “Chinatown’s Champion of Chess”- A life size Chess Game will be played to determine the ultimate champion of chess– a grand prize will be awarded
• James Camas’ Southern Praying Mantis – 12:45 to 1 pm
• The Children’s Hour will take place from 12-3 pm where kids can enjoy a special treat with a bouncy castle, a mini-ferris wheel, face painting, and more
