Since the release of his 2012 COMEDY CENTRAL broadcast and DVD/digital release of his new stand-up special “New in Town,” John Mulaney is poised to become somewhat more recognizable after being vaguely familiar to the millions who watch “Saturday Night Live,” “Late Night with Jimmy Fallon” and more. A wizened comedy veteran at 30 years of age, Mulaney began his career in New York’s East Village as part of the two-man “Oh Hello Show” with comedian Nick Kroll. He has since performed everywhere from Ireland, to Australia to Grand Isle, Nebraska. He’ll kind of perform anywhere. He was named one of Variety’s 10 “Comics to Watch” in 2008–the same year he began working at “Saturday Night Live” where he’s since appeared as a Weekend Update correspondent and co-created such characters as “Stefon” with Bill Hader.
