Operations Associate, Operational Due Diligence
Our client is a successful fund of hedge funds. They are looking for an experienced operations professional to help manage operational due diligence while supporting day-to-day accounting and operations activities of the firm.

Requirements
• Accounting background, preferably with external hedge fund auditing experience or equivalent experience at hedge funds
• Minimum of 5 years experience
• Outstanding written and oral communication skills
• Highly organized and detail-sensitive
• Team Player
• Excellent academic performance a must – our client is extremely particular with regard to educational background and requires someone with superior standardized test scores and GPA

Responsibilities:
• Prepare for due diligence meetings through document collection, processing, and analysis
• Participate in on-site investigative meetings
• Help coordinate due diligence activities with investment team
• Assist in in-depth analysis of key manager operational issues
• Review hedge fund financial statements
• Monitor overall investment process to ensure completeness and accuracy of records
• Review fund administrator’s monthly net asset value calculations
• Reconcile fund cash and position balances, payables and receivables, and shareholder records and activity
• Prepare and distribute weekly and monthly performance reports to investors
• Assist with processing of monthly investment and redemption transactions
• Calculate and process fee and other payments
• Assist with investor queries
