JOEY GUILA:
Comedian Joey Guila was born in San francisco, in the bay area he won the Kings of Comedy competition which led him to perform on P Diddy’sBad Boys of Comedy in New York. Joey’s tours include, Latham Entertainments Kings of Comedy Search Tour 2003, Takeout Comedy Tour 2004, Brown Seoul Comedy Tour 2005, The Furious Four Comedy Tour 2006 and now on The Filipino Kingz Comedy Tour. Joey is currently working on season 2 on the hot new cartoon called the “NUTSHACK” on the MYX channel on Direct TV. Also on MYX Joey host a new television show called “That’s My Jam”, a top 10 music countdown that also features celebrity interviews, movie reviews and comedy. www.top10.myx.tv. Joey is featured on the Showtime channel for Slanted Comedy with Edwin San Juan.
KEVIN CAMIA:
Kevin Camia prides himself in being a part of the great tradition of stand up comedy. He has performed throughout the country and is quickly gaining national exposure after years of honing his craft at clubs and colleges. He has been featured on Comedy Central’s “Live at Gotham”, Aspen Rooftop Comedy Festival, AZN’s Asia Street Comedy and the San Francisco Sketchfest. His comedy is a mix of dry wit, strange observations and social satire delivered in a “tell it like it is” performance. He constantly challenges himself in writing new and original material with enough twists and sharp turns to make any audience have a great time.
KEITH PEDRO:
Keith is described as a human firecracker, filled with so much explosive energy. He is a Stand-up comic, script writer and actor who featured in Much Music’s (Video On Trial), Degrassi . Keith is also a member of Toronto sketch crew THE BOOM! Don’t be surprised if you see Keith on a movie screen in the near future.
RON JOSOL:
Ron Josol represents a new generation of comedy. With his modish comedy style and commanding stage presence, he is one of today’s hottest acts. Ron has taken his comedy around the world and has performed in Canada, U.S., Pacific Islands, Persian Gulf, Asia, Central America, the Carribean and the in the Middle East. In Ron’s 2nd year performing as a comedian, he won the coveted Craven A’s funniest Homegrown Competition at the Just For Laughs Comedy Festival. Since then he has been performing regularly at various Festivals including, the Winnipeg Comedy Festival, Just For Laughs Festival, the International Comedy Fest 2K8, The Orange County Comedy Festival and the LOL Comedy Festival in Hollywood, California. Indubitably, the most recognizable Asian comedian in Canada, Ron was profiled on the Comedy Network, ABS-CBN Asia, Showtime Dubai, CBC, Discovery Channel, Echo, Omni 1&2, MTV Canada, and recently the Biography Channel in Canada. Ron has hosted his own television series on Omni 2’s network called, “FLIP”. He produced, co-wrote and starred as the lead of a short film based on his true story entitled, “Rolling Longaniza,” which aired on CBC Zflicks. He has written and performed on Much Music hit shows “Video on Trial” and “Much More Music”. Ron has taped numerous stand-up comedy specials in his career, including, “Ethnical Difficulties” for CBC, “Comedy Now”, on CTV/Comedy network. He has been featured in ABSCBN’s Slanted comedy taped at the San Jose Improv and recently recorded 2 comedy specials produced by Showtime Dubai. This lead to his first US television appearance on LOL Comedy Festival on Showtime USA.
