Job Description
SONY MUSIC ENTERTAINMENT is a global recorded music company with a roster of current artists that includes a broad array of both local artists and international superstars, as well as a vast catalog that comprises some of the mot important recordings in history. Sony Music Entertainment is a wholly owned subsidiary of Sony Corporation of America.
Provides administrative support to the content management team across several departments. The departments included are: Legacy, International Catalogue Marketing Group, Creative Services, and Archives.
Job Duties:
·Create, maintain and distribute the Content Group schedule of ALL content pieces and due dates
·Work with Creative Group for video codes and duplication – including creation of Pos
·Work with Video Coordinators to manage Video Production schedule
·Digital Tool creation process – keeping tools on track after receiving content and direction from Content Manager
·Physical Tool creation process – keeping tools on track after receiving content and direction from Content Manager
·Working with outside vendors to price out, order and distribute Physical & Digital Tools
·Coordination and proof reading of Sales Pages – after copy and direction set from Content Manager and Marketing Manager
·Managing pool of completed assets (on Spark, Social text or other future deposit area)
·Managing pool of approved and owned Artist Images (as provided by Content Manager) for packaging, press, digital, ICON, Merch, etc.
·Manage Content Group intern
· Outstanding attention to organization and detail
·Bachelor’s degree preferred
·At least 1 year administrative experience
·Experience in the entertainment industry a plus
·Ability to work effectively with systems, procedures and processes.
·Independent follow-through
·Proficiency in Microsoft Office Programs (Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint)
·Ability to multi-task, to take direction from more than one person, and to thrive in a fast-paced environment
·Excellent interpersonal skills, and strong written and oral communication skills
