Youth Orchestra, CYCNY is a non-profit organization based in New York City and founded in 1997. Its mission is to educate talented instrumentalists age 10-18, to be skillful orchestra and chamber music performers, as well as to promote them in concert and concert tour, for worldwide cultural experience.

Chi-Ming Tseng is a senior at Queens High school for the Sciences at York College. He plays drum set, xylophone, bells, and timpani and he joined Youth Orchestra, CYCNY in 2009. He performed in its four consecutive Annual Concerts at Alice Tully Hall of Lincoln Center during 2010-2013, and numerous charity concerts at nursing home. Furthermore, he participated in a concert tour with the orchestra to Japan and Taiwan in 2012. He has an innate interest in music.
Yun-Ping Tseng is a sophomore at Townsend Harris high school at Queens College. As a member of Youth Orchestral, CUCNY, she got a chance to perform in Four Annual Concerts at Lincoln Center from 2010-2012, which showcased her several flute solos. She also traveled with the orchestra to perform concerts in Japan and Taiwan in 2012. Currently, she is learning piano with Ms. Chi-Ching Grace Lin and flute with Mr. Kenneth Chia.
