About Tally Beck:
Tally Beck is an art dealer and art historian specializing in the art of Asia and the Asian diaspora. He is founder and director of Tally Beck Contemporary, a gallery on Manhattan’s lower East Side that specializes in Asian contemporary art. While living in Beijing, he was the director and curator of red Gate Gallery, the oldest contemporary art gallery in mainland China. He studied art history at New York University and did graduate work in Southeast Asian Contemprary art at Chulalongkorn University in Bangkok.
