A business plan is necessary if you are starting, buying or financing a business. It is also a tool to keep you on track and increases your chances of success. Writing a Business Plan is the first session of AWIB’S four-part series on starting your own business. The AWIB Writing a Business Plan session will be led by Alicia Yoon, co-founder of Peach and Lily (www.peachandlily.com), an e-commerce site offering the best in Asian beauty products. Alicia holds an MBA from Harvard Business School with a background in finance and management consulting. AWIB brings experienced professionals to lead its classes to enable attendees to get first-hand information on the starting and running a business.
The workshop will cover:
– Why and when you need a business plan
– Elements of an effective plan
– Importance of strategic planning
– Using research and resources to make your case

AWIB Members: $20 for each class (or $40 for the four-part series)
Non-Members: $30 for each class (or $80 for the four-part series)
