Musical photographer, Emily Cheng, presents her photo exhibition called ‘See You When I See You.’ Cheng came to New York City just five months ago from Taiwan. In that short time span, she has photographed over 100 bands such as, …You Will Know Us By The Trail of Dead, A Place to Bury Stranger, The Soft Moon, Bat for Lashes, Amanda Palmer, Frankie Rose and DIIV…ect.

Her signature photography style is black and white live concert shots. Her ability to capture an artist’s emotional energy on stage is remarkable, allowing her viewers to feel up close and personal within a single photograph. Cheng wishes to share a compilation of her work from over her past five months here. She welcomes all the bands she has had the pleasure to photograph, as well as fans alike, to come view her showcase ‘See You When I See You’ on Nov. 2nd at 2A Bar.

來自台灣的音樂攝影師 Emily Cheng 即將在11月2日舉辦個人攝影展”See You When I See You”。從五月訪紐約至今，Emily帶著她的相機參加了無數場的現場演出，並在短短的五個月內拍攝超過一百個樂團。她所捕捉過的身影包括”You Will Know Us By The Trail of Dead”、” A Place to Bury Stranger”、”The Soft Moon”、”Bat for Lashes”、”Amanda Palmer”、”Frankie Rose”，以及”DIIV”…等知名樂團。以黑與白的對比帶出演唱會中表演者忘我的精神，是Emily著名的風格，她的作品總能讓欣賞者感受到現場演出那股巨大的能量，彷彿置身在演唱會現場。Emily邀請樂團、樂迷、攝影同好以及朋友們一起來參加”See You When I See You”，一同來回顧這五個月的作品。
