This AWIB workshop will discuss company ownership structure and how you need to weigh the legal and tax options of each and consider what best fits your particular situation. We will also cover the importance of keeping your finances in order including a record system, bookkeeping, accounting, payroll, and other tax issues. Our Legal Structures, Taxes and Record Keeping workshop is essential for anyone who owns/operates their own business as well as aspiring entrepreneurs. This will be the second workshop of AWIB’s four-part series on Starting Your Business 101.
Our facilitators are Samiya Mir, Partner at Katona & Mir specializing in employment and business law and by Chunyee Miot, a NYS Certified Public Accountant with over 10 years of experience. Samiya and Chunyee, experts in their respective fields, will ensure attendees get first-hand information on the important aspects of starting and running a business.
