Queens Museum of Art
Flushing Meadows–Corona Park at 92nd St. Flushing, NY 11368
Queens-based photographer Jeff Chien-Hsing Liao was in residence at the Queens Museum during their four-year renovation and expansion and used this opportunity to catalog the building’s change. His large format color photos will be on display in ten 40 x 60” prints and they will be accompanied by images from various periods in the Museum’s history including its time as the New York City Pavilion, the home to the UN General Assembly (1946-1950), and the World’s Fair Skating Rink (1952-1962; 1964-2008).
