The japanese have believed since ancient times that life dwells in all things. They believe that even language and the written character contains a soul. Sugita Koki’s show is the expression of “The breath of a character”. Says Mr. Koki, “I would like you to feel the fragment of life called Kototama, the character which wriggles like a dragon as if it were alive, the character in which love overflows warmly”.
