Join us to see Chinese traditional firecracker ceremony of Chinese Lunar New Year.

As you probably know, it’s the Year of the Horse.  The Lunar New Year is being celebrated in Chinatown.

On Friday at 11 a.m., the Better Chinatown Society ignites Sara D. Roosevelt Park with the annual Firecracker Ceremony and Cultural Festival.  The event is staged on the courts at Grand Street.
