Weill Recital Hall
881 7th Ave, New York, NY 10019
A frequent recitalist in Weill Recital Hall, pianist Hiroko Sasaki invites Hungarian flutist Gergely Ittzés to perform a concert of duets for flute and piano written in the last decades of the 19th century and the early part of the 20th century. The program explores musical languages that proliferated after the Romantic era and includes lesser known sonatas by composers Pijper and Karg-Elert, along with often-played works by Reinecke, Debussy, and Prokofiev.
