Some fear the dark. Some fear flying. Some fear spiders. But did you ever think you could fear the power within you? Patty Chang Anker will lead an interactive workshop hosted by Asian Women In Business (AWIB) on how to face your fears head-on.
Asian women have a unique set of fears due to their culture and gender, which sometimes become obstacles to career success. Patty will speak to how your genes, upbringing, culture, and history can influence your fears. She will address the emotional fears that hold you back, show you how to remove those obstacles, and shine a path to the one small step you can take that could lead to a whole new life.
Patty was a featured speaker on TEDx where she gave a talk titled Warning: Leaving Comfort Zone. Things Could Get Exciting. She is also the author of Some Nerve: Lessons Learned While Becoming Brave. Start out the new year by shedding the fears that are holding you back. Harness your power and become the heroine of your own story going forward. Patty will also be available to autograph her book.
