We are currently seeking a high impact Director of Digital Marketing & Analytics to join our growing team in a leadership role. This person will lead the development, execution, and assessment of innovative, results-oriented digital marketing initiatives that leverage SEO, SEM, email and other methodologies to drive customer acquisition, retention and engagement on behalf of agency clients.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the agency leader and subject matter expert for all issues associated with organic search engine optimization, pay-per-click advertising, email marketing, and campaign/web site performance analysis.
- Plan, oversee and analyze digital marketing strategies and tactics that leverage SEO, SEM, email, affiliate marketing and other methodologies on behalf of agency clients.
- Remain current on email marketing best practices, with regard to contact strategies, data capture and campaign analysis, deliverability, and CAN-SPAM compliance.
- Develop test plans for clients including search engine strategies, keywords, ad groups, ad text copy, email copy, landing page strategy, etc.
- Ensure flawless execution of campaigns through effective management of growing team of digital marketing professionals.
- Ensure compliance to search-friendly web site development best-practices. This role requires cross-department collaboration, communication and coordination between Design, Technology, Project Management, and Account Management.
- Lead and manage all agency efforts associated with website and campaign performance analysis, ROI, and reporting.
- Identify new business opportunities and actively participate in pitches.
Qualifications
- 5 -10 years of relevant experience in SEO/SEM, email marketing, direct marketing, and/or performance analysis in a corporate, marketing, ecommerce or brand-building capacity.
- Deep knowledge of SEO/SEM and email marketing best practices, including how to set up, interpret and apply learnings in a fast moving environment.
- Quick learner who can grasp the core needs of a business or situation and rapidly develop solutions.
- Proven capability to manage direct reports.
- Exceptional, hands-on knowledge of leading web analytics tools
- Strong quantitative and analytical skills.
- Excellent research and presentation skills
- BA/BS or equivalent
