Public School co-designer (and stylish New Yorker) Dao-Yi Chow earned his stripes by building up his streetwear pedigree with brands like Black Apple and Sean John. As part of the Council of Fashion Designers of America’s incubator program, Public School made a transformation into a full-on designer label, complete with a presentation at New York Fashion Week. Don’t get it twisted though, the line still has a certain grittiness to it.
