The Korean Traditional Music Orchestra of the Blind is made up of visually impaired musicians. For centuries, blind musicians in Korea held official posts and performed for various court ceremonies and rituals. This orchestra carries on that tradition. All musicians have had outstanding accomplishments in their field, winning numerous music awards in their professional careers. The program includes not only traditional music, but also various other performances that blend ethnic rhythms and modern melody lines. Through this performance, the orchestra hopes to convey a message of hope that goes beyond visual impairment.
