Emi Watanabe:
I was born in 1970 in Japan. Although I graduated from the Department of Economics at Nihon University, after seeing an art exhibition, “Andy Warhol,” my course changed drastically. I entered Setsu Mode Seminar art school in 1999. That was a big moment for me. I’m fond of art that is rhythmical and heart-warming. I hope my work can express a way to celebrate life and make people happy! In Japanese, the word “On” reminds us of the sound and warmth. So I titled this exhibition “On”.
