General Details:
o This position will report to our New York City Office.
o This is a full-time position offering full benefits, a competitive salary, paid training, and performance-based bonuses.
Responsibilities:
• Maintenance, enhancement, and modification of the application systems provided in the project.
• Identifying and troubleshooting application issues.
• Communicated best practices to other team members
• Listen to user requirements and develop effective business application solutions using structured design methodologies.
• Assist the end-user in understanding, using, and customizing the tools provided to implement solutions in the production environment.
Qualifications:
• Ability to communicate well with users to discuss their data, applications, and project requirements
• Designing a solution, including delivery effort and timeline, testing and implementation plan
• Understanding of object-oriented development, data models, database programming and implementation plan
• Good troubleshooting skills, able to work with client, user and downstream partners
• Familiar with Microsoft Access and SQL Server
• Familiar with MS Office Automation
• Familiarity of Linux, Perl, Oracle is a plus but not required

Technical Requirements:
• ASP.NET, VB.NET, SQL Server 2005, Vbscript, Excel, MS Access, MS Office
• Web Development experience in a .NET / IIS environment
