Job Description
A Fortune 100 firm in Manhattan is seeking a Senior Marketing Manager to drive direct marketing programs and manage client relationships. The successful candidate will have 5-7 years direct-to-consumer marketing experience that includes full design, management, and execution of large-scale telemarketing campaigns, plus significant experience working within banking or credit cards in a marketing-related role and past P&L responsibility for multi-million dollar programs/clients.
RESPONSIBILITES INCLUDE:
• Strategic and day-to-day management of marketing partners and/or client relationships
• P&L management including revenue targets, marketing spend, loss ratios, and ROI
• Develop implementation plans/timelines and manage execution of new direct-to-consumer insurance products
• Design customer acquisition strategies to be executed via direct marketing
• Manage set-up/execution of new direct marketing campaigns including communicating with internal/external stakeholders & clients, obtaining legal/compliance approval, and managing outside agencies (including 3rd party telemarketing firms)
• Analysis and reporting of marketing campaign performance, persistency and ROI
• Support business development efforts as needed
BUSINESS PROFILE:
• Insurance programs executed through sponsored relationships including banks, Credit Card & Mortgage companies (note: Insurance experience is NOT required)
• Successful, profitable, & rapidly growing division of a Fortune 100 firm

REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE:
• 7+ years overall marketing experience
• 5+ years Direct Marketing Campaign Management experience including significant large-scale telemarketing experience
• Strong Marketing Leadership Experience (including 5+years client/account management experience)
• Strong telemarketing experience – including management of outsourced telemarketing vendor
• Significant end-to-end ownership of direct marketing campaigns (including strong ability to design DM campaigns from scratch and lead all aspects of execution and reporting)
• Significant marketing experience with large banks or credit card companies
• Proven ability to manage and build internal/external relationships and work as part of a team
• Strong financial skills including experience with P&L models
• Strong communications skills and strong project management skills
• P&L management experience
• Bachelors degree
• Web acquisition experience preferred but not required
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:
• Start Date: June 2009 (within 2-3 weeks of offer acceptance)
• Reports To: Marketing Director
• Local Candidates only (NYC Metro area) – no relocation
