Description:
Key Position/Role Accountabilities
Program planning
Ads group of persons with experience in outcomes, healthcare applied analytics and business analytics.
Demonstrates the impact of health improvement programs (prevention, wellness, DM, interventions, VBBD, Medical Home) and interventions on health service utilization and costs, health status, health beliefs and health related QOL
Elaborates with program design teams and the market integration group to define elements that are projected to drive business value through insights and analysis
Its performance measures and targets to assess business impact of all programs implemented with customers.
Communicates data requirements with partners and assists in providing necessary documentation to support reporting for all stakeholders
Complies forward thinking analysis; uses analytic information to identify potential future opportunities with the client
Collaborates with all other functional areas and assists on design and execution of appropriate evaluation and program communications
Articulates complex issues and concepts through illustrative design
Confines consistent data sets for managing reporting functions; integrates best thinking on project matters across the health services space; interfaces directly with the client; and, articulates options and opportunity
Provides key input to develop a standard set of CMG performance measures; identifies appropriate measures for the project; and, sets relevant targets
Structures and maintains collaborative working relationships across Pfizer and relevant BUs; and, manages cross functional resources to meet delivery goals.
Stays current in related field through professional development training, industry related market intelligence and research
An active member of the project operations teams, assists in devising and producing reports in support of operational requirements
Provides strong project management skills to complex business needs such as assisting in development of RFP responses and designing complex health initiatives
Defines data elements and produces regularly scheduled and ad hoc reporting and contractual operational reporting requirements including managing outsourced resources
Communicates data requirements with partners and assists in providing necessary documentation to support reporting
Demonstrates an understanding of wellness, prevention, disease and care management skills and activities to assist in design and project architecture
Stays current in related field through professional development training, industry related market intelligence, research and speaking engagements
Articulates complex issues and concepts through illustrative processes (PP, excel etc)
a key member of the SI leadership team
Qualifications:
1. Educational Requirements: Doctoral Degree PhD, in health services research, public health, or epidemiology
2. MBA, MPH with 10 years + experience and background in related field, such as managed care health services, DM program management, public health services. Working knowledge of SAS and other data related aggregation tools. Excellent communication skills and presentation capability. Has successful track record in leading small teams and is a strategic decision maker.
3. Direct experience in applied health services, health economics research, public health improvement and epidemiology. Previous consultation experience as Employee benefit consultant, analytics and outcomes management within healthcare consulting or disease management firm.
