Responsibilities include:
The Benefits Consultants offer opportunity for professional development and involvement in many areas of benefits consulting. As contributing member of our consulting team, you will be involved in a variety of projects which include, but not limited to the following: Design and analysis on retirement plans, enterprise annuity and other employee benefit programs such as group medical and life insurance; Actuarial assessment on retirement plan, enterprise annuity and other employee benefit programs such as post retirement medical allowances and severance payment obligation; Assets and liabilities modeling; Implementation of benefit programs, including operation platform analysis, selection of provider and communication; Retirement plan, flex plan and other employee benefit plans administration; Valuations of Stock-based compensation programs; Financial and compliance risk assessment during due diligence; Other ad-hoc consulting projects.
Qualifications:
To be considered for the post of Associate Benefits Consultants, you are expected to have:
Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Mathematics, Statistics or other mathematics-related degrees; Actuarial Science is preferable but not essential; Able to work independently as well as contribute effectively as a teamplayer; Strong analytical skills and mathematical aptitude; Attention to detail and commitment to task; Well-organized, able to handle a variety of assignments and meet tight deadlines; Strong computer software/programming skills; Strong internet skills; Strong Chinese and English communications skills. Mandarin is a must.
To be considered for the post of Benefits Consultants, you are expected to have:
Bachelor’s degree in Actuarial Science; At least 2 to 3 years of working experience, with proven project management skills; Able to handle analytical work and write up reports based on factual information; Able to work independently as well as contribute effectively as a team player; Strong analytical skills and mathematical aptitude; Attention to detail and commitment to task; Strong Chinese and English communications skills. Mandarin is a must.
As a Benefits Consultant, you will pursue actuarial fellowship qualifications, and will be provided with a comprehensive Exam Study Program.
