AsianInNY’s 10th Annual Fashion Show will feature a runway show to showcase Taiwanese designers: Malan Breton‘s and Alexander King Chen‘s Spring 2015 collections. Come experience Taiwan’s fashion at Grand Central on September 27th 2014 from 1-2pm.
In addition to having Breton and Chen display their featured designs AsianInNY has recruited the international fashion industry’s accessory experts to contribute to the runway show. Hairstyles will be done by Haruo Noro Salon; makeup by Cakra Fashion Makeup & Skincare; Jewelry by Jade Chiu and Wendy Chen; handcrafted men’s shoes by Crownhill, and women’s shoes by Schee, an innovative footwear brand that donates a percentage of every sale to charity.

Taiwanese born designer Malan Breton is the designer of one of “the 300 most recognized luxury brands in the world” and the “24th most famous celebrity from Taiwan in the world”. * Alexander King Chen (Womenswear)
Born in the USA, Taiwan-based designer Alexander King Chen is currently one of the most volcanic young fashion designers in the Chinese speaking world. His impressive roster of notworthy Asian celebrity clients include Sandrine Pinna, Barbie Hsu, Terri Kwan, and Mavis Fan. Alexander King Chen proves himself to be a staple to the celebs and the red carpets all over Asia by designing outfits that were worn by stars at many film festivals: Cannes International Film Festival, Hong Kong Film Festival, Shanghai Film Festival, Asia Pacific Film Festival, Busan Film Festival, and the Singapore Film Festival.
* Eddie Ngai (Hair Stylist)
A stylist for over 15 years, Eddie has worked backstage at runway shows in New York and Milan for fashion designers such as Calvin Klein, Ralph Lauren, Hugo Boss and Diesel. His celebrity clientele includes Renee Zellweger, Vincent D’Onofrio and Jaime Pressly, and his editorial work has been featured in InStyle, ELLE, People, Glamour, Cosmopolitan, SELF, Town & Country and Allure. * Wendy Lin (Make-up Artist)
Wendy Lin, born in Taiwan, is the Founder of Chakra Fashion Makeup & Skincare. She is also New York State & ITEC licensed aesthetician and makeup artist. Wendy specializes in nude makeup, bridal makeup, stage makeup, film & television makeup. She has worked with numerous fashion shows and events in New York City.
* Jade Chiu (Jewelry Designer)
NY based Taiwan-native, Jade Chiu has contributed to Anna Sui, L.A.M.B., DVF, and BabyPhat. She is self taught and combines all of her art and fashion background to create her jewelry line.Succumbing to her long-held dream of creating designs around zodiac 12. Born and raised in Taiwan and Thailand, she later established foundation of her designer career in NYC.
