Rising TOHOKU Food Fair
Japan’s Tohoku region refers to the northeastern area of Honshu, the largest island in Japan.
Three years after the 2011 Great East Japan Earthquake, the Tohoku region is recovering and rising once again as a robust area of abundant nature resources.
Together with the Tohoku governments, we are bringing to you the region’s diverse and flavorful food products at this year’s Rising Tohoku Food Fair at the Chicago Store and New Jersey Store.
“Sendai Takejiro” brings their “Sapporo Miso ramen”.
Sendai Pref. is northern part of Japan and famous for “Sendai Miso”.
“Sendai Miso” uses 100% locally grown soy beans and rice and brings rich and strong UMAMI.
Enjoy this full-flavored, mild ramen mixed with tonkotsu soup, fish and vegetables.
