Responsibilities include:

• Develop a highly competitive Asia supplier base to meet organizational business goals, market competition risks and introduction of new product design.
• Work in partnership with senior management to develop and execute strategic plans to build the Asian business base.
• Work with Senior Management to conduct major contract negotiations with potential clients.
• Maintain current geographic sourcing patterns.
• Lead the organization to focus on continual improvement in supplier performance.
• Provide leadership on supplier compliance.
• Group Asia market information to steer sourcing strategies.

Qualifications:

• 10+ years experience; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Proven track record in resource development, supply chain and quality control.
• Must have experience in retail manufacturing and supplying major retailers. Contract manufacturing is also preferred.
• Must possess broad financial reporting knowledge and experience.
• In-depth understanding of customers, traffic, and political conditions in respective markets.
• Must have experience in international business and be fluent in both English and Chinese.
