The debut concert at Cornelia, Yuhan Su quintet will present the music from Yuhan upcoming second album release Room of One Own.
A native of Taiwan, New York based-vibraphonist Yuhan Su’s debut album as leader, Flying Alone has been released to widespread approval. Flying Alone received numerous music awards and nominations, including Best Jazz Album of the Year, Best New Artist, Best Jazz Single from the 2013 Golden Indie Music Award and Best Performance Album of the year, Best Composer Award from 2013 Golden Melody Award in Taiwan, and Best Release of 2013 by All about Jazz.
Each tune of Flying Alone, the debut album from Taiwanese vibraphonist Yuhan Su, has a distinct personality. Yuhan’s compositions are tied together by intelligence, sensitivity and a haunting sense of tenderness. — Brad Farberman, Downbeat Magazine

I would like to sincerely invite you to this very exciting upcoming event. My quintet is making our debut concert at Cornelia Street Cafe on Sunday Nov 23rd! We are also delighted to invite the wonderful vocalist Sara Serpa to be our special guest of the night.
We will play lots of music from my upcoming album A Room of One’s Own. It will be lovely to have you celebrating the moments with us.
