Seeking committed, dedicated & responsible Hmong interpreters that are able to assist the Non-English speaking population in the United States through Telephonic Interpretation Services. Optimal Phone Interpreters serves Hospitals, Workers’ Compensation, 911 Call Centers, Unemployment offices and others. We offer over the phone interpretation services 7 days a week, 24 hours a day including weekends and holidays.

We are flexible and will work around your schedule. We pay per minute of interpretation based on the experience . Many of our interpreters are court interpreters, medical interpreters, and onsite interpreters.
I am currently looking for an interpreter that is available from Monday thru Friday from 9AM-6PM Eastern Standard Time.

What OPI requires:
Proficiency in both languages- English and Target language (s)
Customer Service Skills- being patient & kind- even if the other person is not.
Good listening skills & Memory skills.
Interpreting accurately in the First person- Not adding, not omitting, not changing the statement- simply conveying its original meaning to the other party.
Note taking skills .
It is consecutive interpreting- the English or Hmong speaker speaks, then interpreter interprets)
Having medical vocabulary- The majority of the calls will be from a hospital or a clinic.- e.g. Parents with a sick child, to make an appointment to see the doctor, or it may be for testing such as an MRI test, or a diagnostic, procedures, follow up appointments, or visits.
