There are 500 MILLION online shoppers in CHINA making it the LARGEST e-commerce market in the world. Led by newlypublic
Alibaba, the balance of spending power online is shifting East and is affecting how the world thinks about the
global marketplace.
Ambassador Frank Lavin is the president and CEO of EXPORT NOW, a company dedicated to helping Western brands,
retailers and entrepreneurs to sell online in China and to Chinese consumers around the world.
On January 28, 12:00 pm, Ambassador Lavin will be the distinguished speaker at the Confucius Institute for Business at
SUNY.
He will discuss:
• What lessons can we draw from this consumer revolution in China and how can your company use e-Commerce
to win in this fiercely competitive market?
• What are the tools and strategies you need to sell online in China
• Case studies from companies doing it right.
Frank Lavin is a long-time China hand and China e-Commerce pioneer. He will draw on his experience with Export Now,
as well as his background in China banking, trade negotiations, and market entry strategy to share techniques that that
companies can use to compete in China e-Commerce.
Export Now (exportnow.com) is a U.S. firm established in 2010 to operate e-commerce stores in China for foreign
companies.
