Multiple Departments: Performing Arts, Visual Arts/Gallery, Film/Cuisine, Marketing at Korean Cultural Org.
Requirements
Undergraduate students (junior and senior standing preferred), graduate students, or recent graduates.
Must be fluent in English and Korean (Marketing Department interns must be fluent in English).
Legal status to work in the United States (please note the Korean Cultural Service NY does not sponsor work permits or visas).
All internships are unpaid; transportation expenses will be provided.
Mon-Fri 10 am to 5 pm (12:00 pm -1:30 pm lunch break).
Interns must be able to commit at least two full days a week and able to work late for certain events.
Responsibilities
Assist and support Korean Cultural Service events as requested, especially in the areas of performing arts (music, theater, traditional music, etc.), events production (film, cuisine), and media marketing.
Will work both individually and as a team.
Research cultural affairs topics and produce formal and informal written materials.
Carry out extensive English-language communication with various organizations and individuals.
Translate documents to/from Korean and English.
Those with knowledge of the cultural arts, marketing, or related areas preferred. To apply, please include:
